Meet the team

Our team is our extended family. We spend most of our days together and as a bonus, we really do enjoy each others company and care for one another. As an extension of that philosophy, we treat each and every one of our patients with the same care and respect that we give each other. We welcome you to become part of our extended family as well.

Dr. Peter Krimsky, DDS

General Dentist

My name is Dr.Peter Krimsky. I have been practicing dentistry in Plantation, Florida for 34 years. I have been happily married for 34 years and have three terrific sons. I truly enjoy my career and find it very rewarding. I have a terrific staff and together, our team strives to know each one of our patients personally and to make them feel at home while in our care. We love to grow together with our patients and build a trusting long term relationship with each one. I personally would like to welcome you again and I would enjoy the privilege of having you as part of our dental family.

Sandra

Office Manager and Head Dental Assistant

Sandra “Sandy” Calabro began her career as a Certified Dental Assistant 38 years ago, after completing her associate of Arts degree at Broward Community College. She has spent the last 33 of those 38 years with Dr. Krimsky’s office. Her passion is for her patients and the time she gets to spend with them. When asked about being the office manager, Sandy replies, “It’s not about that, we (Dr. K the girls and I) are more like a family.” Sandy and her husband, Gary, have been married for 41 years. Gary and I have been blessed with three awesome children; Twin boys that graduated from UM in 2010 and a daughter that graduated from NSU in 2014. This coming year, Sandy and Gary are excited to become grandparents. While Sandy enjoys making crowns and bridges, building a relationship with her patients is her favorite part of what she does.

Robin

Hygiene Coordinator/Dental Hygienist

I was born and raised in South Florida. I live in Fort Lauderdale with my husband of 33 years, enjoying empty nesting. We have three beautiful children that are all grown and living their best lives. I earned my dental hygiene degree in 1991. I have been working as a dental Hygiene coordinator and dental hygenist for Dr. Krimsky for 18 years. Finding the “perfect” office was key for me. I found that office with Dr. Peter Krimsky. The staff here all work together to make the office a fun and relaxing environment. Dr. Krimsky and the staff treat our patients as if they are their own family. We treat the whole patient, not just the teeth. Our dental practice has the philosophy of staying current in order to provide the best care possible for our patients.

Dr. Dena Zupnik

General Dentist

Originally from Washington state, Dr. Dena Zupnik pursued his undergraduate studies at University of Washington in Seattle before completing her dental degree at the University of Michigan. Dr. Zupnik provides high-quality, compassionate dental care in a welcoming and relaxing environment. Dr. Zupnik enjoys educating her patients and creating personalized treatment plans that support her patient’s long-term oral health. Dr. Zupnik loves to get to know each one of her patients to build their trust and to make each of them feel at ease in the office. When not caring for patients, Dr. Zupnik enjoys traveling, reading, playing golf and values time with her husband and son.

Odalys

Dental Assistant

Born in Cuba and living in the United States for over 31 years, I began my journey in dentistry after graduating as a dental assistant in 1998. Since then, I have developed a true passion for this profession, which has driven me to continuously grow and expand my knowledge.

I have advanced my training in expanded duties and dental radiology, allowing me to build a strong and versatile career. For over 20 years, I have had the privilege of working alongside specialists in oral surgery, periodontics, and endodontics, as well as with general dentists, gaining extensive experience across multiple areas of dentistry.

On a personal note, I am happily married to my husband Pedro and a proud mother of a son who an interventional cardiology specialist, which is a great source of inspiration in my life.

Currently, I am proud to be part of Dr. Peter Krimsky’s team and I also assist Dr. Dena Zupnik.

Joanna

Registered Dental Hygienist

Joanna is a Registered Dental Hygienist dedicated to providing gentle, thorough care in a welcoming environment. She has been practicing dental hygiene for over 20 years. Joanna has been married for 25 years and has a daughter studying at the University of Central Florida. In her free time, she enjoys taking care of her three cats.

Elena

Front Desk Coordinator

My name is Elena and I am the Front Desk Coordinator and Administrative Assistant here at Krimsky Dental. I have over 20 years of experience working the front desk in Dental offices. We have a great team here from our gentle handed hygienists and our skilled assistants to our wonderful Dentists Dr. Peter Krimsky and Dr. Dena Zupnik.

I have a beautiful daughter who graduated from NSU Magna Cum Laude and 2 wonderful Granddaughters.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, playing croquet, reading music and art.
